Recovery workers at the site of the Interstate 35W bridge collapse over the Mississippi river have temporarily ceased recovery activity.
Search teams have received information to indicate that there are 8 or more victims remaining in the water to be recovered.
Recovery efforts were suspended due to shifting debris, making recovery efforts unsafe for the recovery team.
Family members of missing victims are anxiously awaiting word that the remains of their loved ones have been found.
It is unclear whether recovery efforts will resume later today. Updated information will be provided as it becomes available.
