Roger Avary will make return to Castle Wolfenstein movie

Wolfenstein 3D was considered to be the first first-person shooter video game. Its sequel, Return to Castle Wolfenstein was proved even more popular when released in November 2001. Now, Pulp Fiction co-writer Roger Avary is set to write and direct a feature film adaptation of the videogame.
The game is based on Castle Wewelsburg, a 17th century castle occupied by the Germans under Heinrich Himmler’s control. It begins in Nazi-Occupied Europe during 1943. The game revolves around Army Ranger B.J. Blazkowicz who, along with another agent, is sent to investigate rumours that surround one of Heinrich Himmler’s personal projects. The SS Paranormal Division. The agents are captured before they can complete the mission and are imprisoned in Castle Wolfenstein.
This game has big screen adaptation written all over it. Roger Avary, who is an academy award winning writer, will sympathetically adapt the game into a stunning movie.
