Mozilla, Creators Of Firefox, Hand Out Hacking Tools

Yep, that’s right, Mozilla really are giving out hacking tools to the public. However this isn’t how it looks as unfortunately, they aren’t trying to get everyone to take over the cyber-world. Instead, the reason they are handing out these hacking tools is so programmers and security researchers can identify vulnerabilities that they can then fix, or warn people about.

Mike Shaver, a representative of Mozilla said “the open-source tools are primarily meant to help other programmers discover holes in their own software”, which is fair enough. Don’t worry though, they aren’t stupid either. Mozilla are only giving out the hacking tools that all the biggies like Apple and Microsoft have already got, which means that they are of no harm to anyone.
