GMC Sierra 1500 loses out to Toyota Tundra in sales

No one could have imaged how popular the 2007 half-ton Tundra pickup from Toyota was going to be, ok the truck did have a few hiccups up first but what vehicle doesn’t have them. Well the good news for the Japanese car maker is that they have now overtaken a domestic pickup, the GMC Sierra 1500 in year-to-date sales.
GMC Sierra 1500 has now lost its number four ranking to the Toyota Tundra, these figures are based on projections were have been culled from production numbers. The Sierra 1500 by GM has sold around 76,700, whereas the 2007 Tundra has sold 97,290 units.
