Boxing veteran Evander Holyfield will fight the WBO Heavyweight Champion, Sultan Ibragimov, for his title in Moscow this October.
Evander Holyfield is a four time heavyweight champion and his looking to make this his fifth title.
Ibragimov’s original opponent, WBA champion Ruslan Chagaev, was forced to withdraw from a the bout due to an injury.
“This is the first step on my quest to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and I’m glad Sultan Ibragimov was willing to step up and give me a shot,” said Holyfield.
Holyfield has so far won all his boxing bouts since he made a comeback, beating names such as Oquendon and Maddalone…Who?
Yet, Holyfield has yet to face a decent boxer and although the heavyweight division is a shambles at the moment, Ibragimov is a good step up for Holyfield.
What do you think about Holyfield making a comeback?
Can he win another heavyweight title?
