The Government of the United States of America says its cannot account for 190,000 weapons given to the Iraqi security forces in 2004 and 2005, that works out as losing 260 guns a day or one gun every 6 minutes.
Along with the 110,000 AK-47 assault rifles and 80,000 pistols they are also missing a massive 135,000 items of body armour and 115,000 helmets.
Almost every day we hear the USA blaming Iran and other Middle Eastern countries for funding insurgents and supplying them with arms.
When in fact, they barely need help; the USA is doing a pretty good job of supplying the insurgents and terrorists with arms.
Is now time for the USA to pull out of Iraq?
By being in Iraq, the USA is losing young soldiers and supplying insurgents and terrorists with arms. The USA has now spent over $22.61 billion on Iraqi security forces alone. Perhaps the new US President will see sense and withdraw from Iraq but it may take an outsider such as Ron Paul to get this done, as he has been against the war all along.
