First ever single-player hands-on review of Halo 3 for Xbox 360
Halo 3 as we know is the much anticipation game from Bungie, which is due for release on the Xbox 360 on the 25th of September. There have been many reviews on Halo 3 multiplayer games, but there has never been a review of a single-player campaign. Bungie are very secretive about the full storyline, but they have allowed the 1UP Network not preview the single-player experience.

What we do know is, Halo 3 or the third mission is set near the coast of Kenya, not that far for the Mombasa where Halo 2 was set. The first level begins in the ruins of a human military base, don’t ask me why the base is devastated we just know that it is.

The look and feel of those marines in Halo 3 looks much the same as in previous games, although the marines are less blocky and have greater detail.

I really hope Halo 3 will be much better than halo 2.
I love halo, but halo 2, really let me down.
If they put online in the original xbox (dont know why they didnt), no one would need buy halo 2 to play online and it havent sold more than the original, period.
I hate it since the logo with worst music show up, the gun bad, banshee bad, not any single think is better in halo 2 than the original halo, except you can play online, try it on pc, i really enjoy more play online with the original weapons and vehicules, not the new crap of halo 2.
I bet halo trilogy will be the same that Shrek trilogy.
The first was unexpected, really diferent, really enterteinment, fun, huge popular, original idea, everyone like it, huge wow factor.
The second was huge expected, mainly because the huge success of the last one, it break sell records, but this time not everyone like it, divided opinions, some like, some dont, just regular, same of the same, not more original ideas or wow factor.
The Third was expected, not by many people like the last one, sell good but less than the last one, divided opinions, not more original ideas or wow factor.
That the secuel has great expectations and brake sell records is very common in trilogy where the first one was loved by everyone, name Pirates of Caribean, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Mario, Zelda, even happend in music with a new artist disc release.
In trilogy the current release rely in how good the last one was.
When the halo 3 sales numbers came out, we finally see if the halo fans really love halo 2 or really hate it.
