There are numerous technical analogies that can strive to depicted what impulses are being carried through the brains of these cyclists, but for now will shall choose the phrase:

What are these people thinking? One slip and they go tumbling down, down, down into the water and probably a few nicely hidden sharp rocks.

If you look at the first cyclist, his front wheel is about3 inches from the edge!

Now I know these people are highly experienced, but still, I don’t care how good you are, if that front cyclist gets cramp right now there is nothing he can do about it.
