Ron Paul For US President: Thats what Bob Novak Wants

When Bob Novak was asked about the 2008 US Presidential Elections, he dismissed the front-runners for the Presidency and said he would like to see Ron Paul win the US Presidential Elections next year.
Bob Novak was asked about the Republican presidential candidates but he didn’t have anything good to say about the current top-tier field of Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney and John McCain.
However although he said he thought he expects Fred Thompson to forward, he expressed a liking for Texas congressman Ron Paul. “He’s a very engaging person… I’d like to see him as president,” Novak said. “Can you imagine him at the United Nations?”
What do you think of Bob Novak’s comments on Ron Paul?
Who do you think will win the 2008 US Presidential Elections?
Do you want Ron Paul to win?

What Mr. Dondero has done here is a typical rhetorical trick routinely employed by no-talent political hacks. He conflates two distinct political points of view, i.e. red-white-and-blue-pro-military and pro-war, then uses that false conflation to accuse the target of hypocrisy.
Pro-military is NOT pro-war. Pro-military is NOT pro-nation-building. Pro-military is NOT pro-internationalism. From time to time, we may need the military to wage war, to occupy countries, to reshape world geo-politics. But being pro-military ALWAYS means keeping a light finger on that trigger. Nobody despises the storm of war more than the soldier that has to fight it. And nobody knows more the perils of mission creep than those very same soldiers.
We went to war in Iraq to eliminate a threat to our national security, and to enforce United Nations’ resolutions. Mission Accomplished. Any continued use of the military is pure mission creep. Iraq is a sovereign country… let her sort out her issues as such. Something tells me the boys in green would call that pro-military.

Eric, you keep quoting Zogby, but during the same period Gallup has Ron Paul going up to 3% from nothing. MMMMMM….
Honestly I feel sorry for you. This vitriol is a useless waste of time and kind of pathetic.
Ron Paul will be a great POTUS! Keep watching Eric:) I have been waiting for Ron to run for years, and now for me there is no turning back from this fight for the future of our country. If you ask me Eric, you should be thinking more about the future of our nation than your petty misunderstanding with Dr. Paul. The issue for me has absolutely nothing to do with Iraq, or Al Queda. The issue for me is liberty. I am tired of giving up my liberty, and Dr. Paul will make Congress work to pass anything that is unconstitutional. God Bless Him. In the end I think all of us need to ask ourselves if we want the US to be free again, or we want to live under tyranny. The LAST thing I want to is to be free of Al Queda, and a slave to the US government. May as well be a slave to the Muslims.
I think Ron Paul is the best thing since the Founding Fathers! If he doesn’t win, the country is finished. Everything will be so expensive (because of this fiat money)that we’ll just barely scrape by - merely “existing” in a feudalistic society called the North American Union. It will be worse than George Orwell ever imagined. I think Ron Paul can win, but the problem will be the vote fraud with those electronic ballots. We need to figure out what to do about that!
Ron Paul is the only presidential hopeful that can lead America back onto it’s proper course as a strong, prosperous nation that leads the world by example.
Ron Paul is contageous! I belong to a meet up group joined the last week of July, we started with 14 members. Went and stood in 105 degree heat for four hours holding signs for Ron Paul Revolution. At the first week in August meeting we were up to 26 members. I was curious and asked how many could vote in the Republican Primaries. 25 or the
26 were registered.
I live 20 miles from the nearest town and everyone lives away from the others most have 1 to 4 acre parcels. I have been a Republican for 38 years and before standing up for
Ron Paul have only given money to the GOP.
It is at the end of the month and our congress person had a meeting at the county seat at a church and there were 30 people in attendance. Other than the 9 people in his party
we of our Ron Paul group had 17 people there.
We pay for all the banners and signs ourselves. We have
near 50 members signed on August 26. When I see people which is not often. I find that everyone I talk to is interested or willing to read the slim jims and several said they will be at the next meeting. It is a phonominon.
I do not know the reason for the others but me I have a one
year old and a four year old and want to have a good country for them when they grow up so I got involved. Ron
Paul is honest and means what he says and says what he means. What else could you ask for.
Ron Paul is Our Mr. Smith in Washington the average guy that is honest and does not have to say anything over again.
Go Ron Paul Revolution!!!!!!!!
CHEERS.
I just got off the phone with my Aunt’s husband, a retired doctor, who like Dr. Paul, delivered babies. He’s pretty old but he’s a smart Republican.
He told me he never goes online and he watches FOX news. Said that Guiliani would probably get the nod and lose to Billary. He said he would support Dr. Paul if he could get the nod, but thought he had a zero to no chance of getting the nomination.
It made me realize one thing. We have to keep the internet free.
One thing is clear. The cat is out of the bag. 40,000 people signed up to volunteer for Dr. Paul. Those people arent going away. Regardless, if Dr. Paul gets the nomination or not, the message is clear and avidly supported, so expect alot of these same people to support each other on their way to D.C. to get these damn crooks out of power.
And Eric, no shit he is invested in gold. If I were him that would be part of my plan too. Imagine saving this coutnry from financial disaster and (gasp) profiting from DOING THE RIGHT THING!!! So for that, I hope he makes BILLIONS.
On the Iraq war ‘apologists’, Ive got some choice words but Ill remain calm as I repeat what Ive learned. We have been ignoring the advice of our founders and meddling in the middle east since WWII. That is the reason we are hated. Our mega-elites that control our money, profit from our wars and want that oil money in Iraq and Iran. PERIOD.
Im a high school educated, average joe citizen. That doesnt make me stupid.
We have a shining chance to make a difference. Im proud to support Dr. Paul and my meetup is working their butts off to help him win.
The deck is stacked and the odds are against us. They cant shut us up or stop us from, at the very least, getting a sane message to the voters around us.
