Panasonic HDC-SD7 HD Camcorder is worlds smallest & lightest

Panasonic have done what we like and that is plain and simple “SMALL”, yes Panasonic have added another full HD AVCHD camcorder to their line up and what a camcorder it is. The Panasonic HDC-SD7 HD camcorder is the worlds smallest & lightest around at the moment but we are sure someone will build a smaller one.

They have just announced the HDC-SD7 which will record at 1,920 x 1,080 to SDHC cards, the specs on the Panasonic HDC-SD7 HD Camcorder is basically the same as the 3CCD HDC-SD5 camcorder, ok so they have cut the sensor sizes and dropped the optical zoom from 12x to 10x on the HDC-SD7 HD but that does not mean you will get it cheaper oh no, in fact it seems the more they take out the more they want to charge.

The Panasonic HDC-SD7 HD Camcorder is set for Japan only with a launch date of September 8th for around $1188 (¥140,000).
