LikeABike is a unique toy that aides in building sense of balance and motor skills in children between the ages of two and five.
There are no training wheels on the LikeABike. The advantage of this bike is that it is much smaller than a regular bike, yet encourages the child to use sensory and motor skills as they master riding without a third wheel (tricycle) and without the aide of training wheels.
Once a child masters the LikeABike, they are ready to move on to a ‘regular’ bike with ease. These bikes do not have pedals. Kids should first become familiar with sitting on the bike while balancing with their legs. They should soon start to walk with the bike, progressing into running with the bike. If the bike starts to tip, children will instinctively use their feet to balance.
LikeABikes are available in a range of different models, yet most of the bikes are structurally identical with a length of 32 inches, height of 21 inches, and handlebars are 13 inches in width. Some models are heavier than others.
All LikeABikes come equiped with a cotton seat and rubber grip handle bars. Cotton seat covers are available in a variety of colors as an accessory. Leather seats are also available. If your child is taller than average, a seat pole extension is available that will fit all models.

Price: Starts at $240
