Nintendo boss George Harrison to retire
By: Peter Chubb | August 1, 2007
Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications, George Harrison is to retire but he will still hang around to help with the sales and marketing transition. Harrison has been part of Nintendo since 1992, which we know was just after the launch of the SNES.
For those skeptics out there, this early retirement could have something to do with Nintendo America moving to Redwood City and New York, but then again it could all be just a coincidence. This rumor was started back in June by Game Informer, looks like they were right then.
Do you think the retirement of Nintendo VP, George Harrison, will affect the company in any way?
