Keiji Inafune the creator of the popular game MegaMan, is thinking of making a next-gen Onimusha title. This will revive the fantastic MegaMan Legends franchise, but he has to wait a while as he will not get funding for creating these new games, instead he just has to wait until he has climbed to ladder just a bit more first.
It is thought that if a new Onimusha game is created, then Inafune would like to go back to actor-based characters, as in their Dawn of Dreams title, they used fictional characters instead. Inafune has also expressed that he would like to use a female lead character in his new Onimusha game, although Keiji has been told that it would not sell.
