Ricky Gervais

Don’t panic! Our favourite British funnyman isn’t doomed to his pipe and slippers yet, but will be starring in Warner Bros new comedy Early Retirement. The movie, about a workaholic who quits his demanding job to spend more time with his family, is written by Mark Perez (Accepted, Herbie Fully Loaded) who pitched the idea to Mosaic Media’s Charles Roven and Richard Suckle.

The two then recruited Gervais who helped sell the movie to Warner Bros. We last saw Ricky doing his thang at Night at the Museum and he is about to shoot his second film, Ghost Town, for DreamWorks.
