Evolution of Heavenly Sword was intended for next-gen Xbox 360 games console
Way back in 2003 Developer Ninja Theory developed a games for the original Xbox called Kung Fu Chaos, while this was a huge hit the Ninja Theory website did mention that they were working on a game for a next-gen console.

Now we are in 2007 and the company’s new game is called Heavenly Sword, which should have been intended for the Xbox 360. It came as a surprise that Sony swooped Heavenly Sword for the PS3 from Microsoft, just watch yourself Sony as Ninja Theory will not stay exclusive to just one console. One thing is for sure Ninja Theory has come a long way since those early days in 2003.

oh geez, look this was not meant for the xbox or the 360, this is a target rendered video that ninja theory created and then pitched it to the top video game publishers, they went to microsoft first and they turned it down(big mistake), next they went to sony, and sony said: yes, we will be a part of this. just like littlebigplanet’s story, they pitched it to sony first feeling the ps3 had the processing power they wanted to envision a true create world and media molecule actually thought “ok, we’ll pitch it to sony and they’ll say no and then we’ll pitch it to nintendo” lucky for media molecule sony said yes, the thing is people, all games start off on a computer as a target render(after art, planning and ideas that is)and they dont start off with “hey lets do a game for console a or b” (well unless its an internally developed game like nintendo’s mario offerings)
