Paris Hilton to star in Repo! The Genetic Opera

Jail Bird Paris Hilton has joined the cast of “Repo! The Genetic Opera” alongside Alexa Vega and Paul Sorvino. The full-blown musical is a futuristic thrilled which has been co-financed by “Saw” makers Twisted Pictures and Lionsgate.

This will be Paris’ first film job since her stint in prision and will see her sing in a film framed around musical numbers that range from Opera to Rock. Wow I hope that’s not too hard for Paris to get her head round!

The musical will be set in 2056, when a plague nearly destroys the human race and survival is dependant upon being able to finance a pricey organ transplant. Oh dear, now that Paris has lost her inheritance I hope she can get the cash!

Hilton will play the daughter of the organ transplant magnate (played by Sorvino) who is the villain of the movie. Screenwriter-composers Darren Smith and Terrance Zdunich have worked alongside Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw 2-4) for many years working on the movie version of the opera.
