Hitman Ricky Hatton Eager to Fight Floyd Mayweather

After beating Castillo with an awesome fourth round KO, Ricky Hatton is still gunning for Floyd Mayweather.

This is the fight that everyone wants to happen for many reasons, watch the video below to see why it should happen.

Mainly, Hatton and Mayweather are two Top Pound For Pound Fighters and as they are at the same weight (roughly) it is only right that they come together and have a fight.

Hatton is undefeated and so is Mayweather, having recently beaten Oscar De La Hoya on points.

Some now consider Hatton to be Britain’s best boxer ever and so a victory against Mayweather would seal that title.

Also, Mayweather has been mouthing Hatton off, claiming he could beat that “fat man” easily.

We are still waiting for the official announcement, but the pair are set to fight on December 8th in Las Vegas.

Hatton says: “It would be the greatest day of my life.”

“Floyd is the one I want more than anybody else and if the fight can be made I would be there like a shot.”

“Floyd is a great fighter but if he thinks I’m going to turn up and just lie back and take what he has got to dish out then he has got another thing coming.

“Just getting in the ring with him will be the greatest day of my life, other than when my son Campbell was born. It will be massive.”
