Is Intel’s New Advert Racist? Or Just Lousy Marketing?
By: Daniel Chubb | July 30, 2007 | Leave a CommentSeriously Intel, do you guys really like getting complaints and negative light in the media? It’s as if you’re loving all this bad publicity. Their latest attempt to shine like a rock is with their new advert, which in my opinion, screams the slave trade. Don’t get me wrong, I hope I’m sure they didn’t mean to make it look so blatent or bad, but with six athletic black males kneeling down before a white geek in tight pants, what are we meant to think?
On a positive note, it does make me want to get Intel’s Core 2 Duo, which is what it’s there for. Spring up the comments guys- what do you think? Subliminal racism or just silly mistakes? Let us know how you feel.
