Green Electric Motorcycle: Easy Ryder the environmentally friendly way

For any biker the movie of choice has to be Easy Ryder, as it symbolizes the biker with the open roads the roar of the engine and the smell of gas. That could now change because we need to make life changes for our world, in order to help the fight against global warming. One such way for this is by using the Tango, which is a Green Electric Motorcycle which has been invented by to teenagers, Ben Gulak and Jason Morrow.

The two teens said they wanted to create a green vehicle with the look of a sports bike, which is what they hope they have achieved. Ben and Jason invented this bike as part of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, which is where they displayed the Tango, which they classed as a electric personal transportation vehicle.

You sit on the Tango just like you would on any other motorbike, but that is where any similarities end as to drive forward all you need to do is lean forward, to turn left or right you just lean to side where you wish to go.

The Tango has been designed using the frame from a R6 Yamaha; the electric green motorcycle has two side by side wheels. When riding the Tango, it is as if you are on a games console as much of the technology used is the same as what is used in a Nintendo Wii, which helps it to detect angle and motions. Top speed of this bike is only 40MPH, which is perfect for riding around town.

hmmm… I think 40 mph is ok for such a machine, considering that it has a unique control system. Still this a great idea. More and more people should appreciate eco-friendly machines.
