At the Marvel Studios panel at Comic Convention 2007, it was revealed that Hollywood hunk and Incredible Hulk star Edward Norton actually wrote the script to the movie in which he plays the title role.
Speaking of his involvement with writing the script, Norton said,
”I came into this and I wrote the screenplay. I was the Marvel kid. I had subscriptions to a lot of the marvel comics. I loved Hulk, the early incarnation of Hulk and then the television show when I was a kid.”

Norton continues,”And I always felt like it was one of those great contemporary myths. It’s almost like out of Greek mythology. This suppression of your inner demon,” Edward Norton also revealed that this Hulk will be brand spanking new.

Confirming Norton’s statement, The Incredible Hulk producer Kevin Feige said, “This is a part one, his is the beginning of a whole new Hulk saga,”

It has been confirmed that Edward Norton will play both roles in the movie, which in an effects-driven film is an alien concept to the actor. The Hulk will obviously be packed to the rafters with special effects but will still enable Norton to make Hulk his own with new technologies which enable actors to interface.

Sounds interesting!

Liv Tyler will also be joining the cast but has yet to start filming. The movie itself has only just begun to shoot so it is far too early to be able to provide you with any video clips, at the Comic-Con the studio show one conceptual art photo of a dark green Hulk. With a much tighter face than the Ang Lee version, Yellow eyes and jet black hair, The Hulk seems to have gone hunky – well that’s my opinion. Oh dear I fancy a comic book character!

Director Louis Leterrier promises the film will be non-stop with a massive 350 scenes compared to the 150 scenes in a regular movie.
