BMW hopes that the new X6 will be the complete all round SUV, well BMW are calling it a sport activity vehicle (SAV). The X6 is set to debut in 2009, many of what was in the X5 is to be used in the X6 but one big difference is that the styling is sleeker and the handling is far better.
For those of you who will be looking in your rear view mirror at an X6 you will think that it is just an X5 driving behind you, but for the eagle eyed drivers just look at the deeper front spoiler, that is how you could tell the X5 and X6 apart. The side skirts also have a different design along with steeply sloping roof line to the rear. The third row of seats that were introduced in the latest X5’s will not appear in the X6.
