Following on from my recent story about a rumored price cut of $50 for the Xbox 360, it now seems as if those rumors were true. I can now hear you asking “how do you know it is true?” Well yesterday there had been a leaked Wal-Mart ad showing a new Microsoft Xbox 360 for the reduced price of just $349.99, and now a Toys R Us ad has come to light showing the same offer, so it seems the rumors that we mentioned were actually true then.

The images that we are showing of these ads were found from the Cheap Ass Gamer site, and although the images are now very clear, it does show you that the Xbox 360 is now $50 cheaper. It seems that Walmart and Toys R Us are the first stores to blink and offer us the games console at a cheaper price, so I guess it will not be too long before other stores will follow.
