July 31st: 300 HD Movie in both HD-DVD and Blu-ray formats

I have had a high definition television for some time now and the news that 300 the movie is coming to both HD-DVD and Blu-ray formats on the 31st of July is news that makes my want to buy a Sony Playstation 3 (for the blue-ray of course).

Amazon.com will start selling the movie 300 in the two hi-def formats and it will also come with a standard DVD version as well (that could be given away as a gift).

One thing is for sure and that is all the blood in the film is going to look more real than ever.
