Yet Another Internet Ad Network Snapped Up as MediaWhiz Buys AuctionAds
By: Daniel Chubb | July 28, 2007 | Leave a CommentIt seems like every week, another Internet advertising company is swallowed up.
This time, it was MediaWhiz who bough the eBay affiliate advertising company, AuctionAds.
The price was not disclosed, but this is a remarkable development considering the company was just set up in March.
MediaWhiz has previously bought, TextLinkAds but now they have purchase AuctionAds, which displays relevant eBay auctions on webpages and pays the publisher 100% of the eBay fee. AuctionAds has 20,000 publishers on their network.
Tt seems the way to make money nowadays is to start up and internet advertising company and just wait to get bought out by larger media company!
What do you think about all these adverting companies being bought?
Are we seeing a fight for control of the market?
