Apple To Be Sued In Class Action iPhone Lawsuit
The iPhone has been enjoying great headline news coverage since it was unveiled in January.
However now its time for some bad news, as the iPhone customer launches a class action lawsuit against Apple over claims that the iPhone lacks a user-replaceable battery.
As Apple released the iPhone, the positive aspects of the iPhone were promoted like crazy, and the few downsides such as the fact that Apple did not include a physical keyboard on the iPhone were played down.
Users of the iPhone have learnt to use the on board screen instead of a keyboard so that was not a problem, but users are still upset about the sealed battery, claiming that Apple made the iPhone so users would have to keep buying more iPhones and the battery does not last as long as Apple claims.
What do you think about the iPhone lawsuit against Apple?
Is you iPhone battery working properly?

I believe this is exactly the same problem that the iPod had, and yet they still continue doing the same thing with the batteries.
These people are clearly idiots.
I’m a big fan of Apple’s products but I hate the fact that Apple makes it hard and expensive to change the battery in my iPod. I don’t have an iPhone but I think this lawsuit has some merit. I don’t see why Apple couldn’t build an iPhone with an easily replaceable battery.
One more complaint with the iPhone. I don’t like the fact that the iPod won’t work when you stop your ATT service. This sucks as at this point, it’s a nice looking brick. At the least, the iPhone’s iPod and wifi connections should still work so you can use it at home.

No one is forcing these idiots to buy an iPhone. If the battery bothers them, why do they continue to buy these products?
I wish I could come up with a class action lawsuit against class action lawsuit lawyers. Their frivolous lawsuits are causing me so much emotional distress. Any takers?
No, this suit has NO merit. If you read the suit (instead of just reading stories like this one which don’t give any detail), you’ll see that the suit is completely wrong on FACTUAL grounds. It claims that the battery has to be replaced after 300 charges. In reality, the battery is designed to work at 80 percent of capacity after 300-400 charges. Whoever filed this suit is an idiot who didn’t do his homework. And the people who are writing stories such as this one — without reporting the complete inaccuracies in the suit — are contributing to the disinformation.
Lawsuits such as this could’ve been handle more strategically to acknowledge Apple’s Disregard for replaceable batteries. Apple has long since denied costumers equal treatment in comparison to other phone and computer manufacturers. Ipod’s lack fm radios, replaceable batteries, and other features provided by rivals.
I love my apple. I just wish that apple’s “user friendly” stance on technology would take into consideration form AND function instead of ignoring key parts such as batteries.
I have bought third party software because of apple’s lack of back up stability for ipods. Since then, apple has blocked my legal software thru their ipod/itunes updates. I think Apple should take a look at the people buying their products. Take a long look. We want change. Apple needs to stop the we’re the most…. campaign (macbook air, full touch iphones, etc) and go back to hat really matters. Quality products that may cost more but have a high curve in favor of reliability.
