Troy Polamalu To Stay With Pittsburgh Steelers On $30 million Contract

This new contract makes Troy Polamalu the highest paid player ever at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
This new $30 million contract will see Troy Polamalu playing for the Steelers until 2011.
Troy Polamalu certainly is a valuable player, as he starred in the winning Pittsburgh Steelers team in the 2006 Superbowl.
Troy Polamalu said:
“(This new contract) means I have to work harder to go out and earn it,”
“You have to earn the money. It’s not for what I did in the past, but it’s for what I have to go out and earn now. Go out and play hard, that’s all I can do as an individual.”
