An investigation is taking place concerning an act of sabotage by a NASA employee involving the system computer having had most of the wires deliberately cut. The aircraft, which was meant to have taken off within two weeks, would have been in a akward position had the situation not have been discovered.

This is the first act of sabotage ever to occur on a space program, which is a real shame. NASA says the unnamed individual, who works for the space agency’s contractors, cut wires inside a computer that was headed to the International Space Station (ISS) on the shuttle.

The tampering with the wires took place outside of NASA operations in Florida, but NASA isn’t naming the contractor or where specifically the sabotage incident took place. NASA is currently concentrating on fixing the situation and continuing the launch to the ISS, as planned on August 7th.

Um, dude. I don’t know where you copied your info from, but the computer in question wasn’t an on-board computer. It was a separate device meant for the space station, and no one’s lives would have been immediately in danger.

Nice try with the fear mongering though.

um “sparkyRoosta”…its still a danger if the device gets into space, u cant order a new one from dell when u r up there!
its not fear mongering u imbecile, this was a real danger, remember when the shuttle columbia didnt come back down…thank god nothing lik that happend this time.

i think we should send SparkyRoosta up to the moon with a sabtoaged spaceship that breaks halfway…dw sparky u wudnt be in any “immediate” danger!

    Steve22,

He changed the 1st paragraph since my post… I wish I had kept it, because you’d know what I meant when you read it.

He replaced the inflammatory text with the milder “would have been in a akward position had the situation not have been discovered.”

Before it said something to the effect of, someone cut wires on the shuttle “the on-board computer having had most of the wires deliberately” cut putting everyone’s lives in immediate danger, or something to that effect. Which wasn’t even close to being true since it was a separate monitoring device for the ISS, not a critical component of the shuttle.

I agree that anything like that is not good, especially since it begs the question of what else could be sabotaged in the future.

PS. Thanks for keeping the conversation level by calling me an imbecile. I’m pretty far from that thank you very much.
