What happened to Pro Beach Hockey on ESPN?
By: Roy | July 26, 2007Pro Beach Hockey used to be a professional inline hockey league.
However it only went on for three seasons then the league was abandoned.
Pro Beach Hockey was played in 1998, 1999 and 2000 but since then it has not been played much at all.
What went wrong with Pro Beach Hockey?
Well, basically, ESPN were financially supporting the Pro Beach Hockey League but the Pro Beach Hockey games shown on ESPN were not getting very good ratings. Therefore ESPN stopped sponsoring Pro Beach Hockey and the league ended.
Pro Beach Hockey was different to other hockey games as in Pro Beach Hockey there were ramps behind the goal nets to increase speed.
Was Pro Beach Hockey that bad?
Should Pro Beach Hockey be brought back to ESPN?
