Step Up 2 the Streets: cast and MySpace talent competition

It has been reported that recording artist Cassie will be featured in the sequel Step Up 2 for Touchstone Pictures.
Cassie will also sing a song featured in the film and on the soundtrack.

For all you step up fans there will also be a MySpace talent competition where the winner of the competion might appear in the film along some fantastic stars.

It has been said that Touchstone pictures are asking aspiring singers and dancers to upload audition tapes to the film’s MySpace page.
All the audition tapes will be reviewed by the filmmakers, who will select a group of finalists from the collection.

All you MySpace users will be able to vote to find the winners, who will either get to appear in the film as dancers or land a place on the soundtrack how great does that sound.

The first film Step up that starred Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, and Mario and grossed over $65K at the box office.
