Oh yes Microvision and Motorola have just officially exchanged words, let the marriage begin. Motorola and Microvision sign PicoP laser projection marriage deal in where Motorola have agreed to help Microvision bring their stunning PicoP laser projection high technology to the market.

This is great news really and with Microvision using Motorola handsets could mean good things to come, the downside is it looks like that the agreement looks to amount to the production of what is a functional prototype only and with prospects of an 854 x 480 resolution projection to tickle the soft spots.

We all love gadgets and we would all love to have a projection system on our cell phones but the question that needs to be answered with such a powerful projector built within will the battery in handsets be strong enough to cope.

Would you love to see this all work out?

will the battery hold out? Yes. That’s why Moto is pursuing PicoP w/ Microvision - because the PicoP is very low power compared to other projector or larger displays. Much lower.
