Over the past few years, we’ve all seen a good few laptops worthy of the ugly isle and a few that just make us drool. Now’s your chance to see what Laptop Magazine think are the 5 best and worst laptop designs ever.
Of course, as with any laptop, the specs are what matter, right? Definitaley not. The laptop could have a 20gb hard drive but we all know it’s the looks that count.
Best

The best laptop design was awarded to Acer TravelMate C100 from 2002 (pictured above), which was indeed the world’s first tablet PC and laptop (convertable). I personally don’t agree that the laptop was worthy of first place, however I do take my hat off to the creators for bringing forward such a revolutionary concept. And it looks good too.
Worst

Here’s one for us to cherish and remember for a long time to come. Yes, that’s right, the makers of the sleek and sexy iPods, Macs, Macbooks and the beautiful iPhone did manage to manufacture something as ugly as the Apple iBook. It may have come in a vast variety of colours, but that doesn’t change the fact that it looks like a toilet seat. Good choice for #1.
