San Francisco Power Outage: netflix, Craigslist, Technorati and LiveJournal down

There is panic because of the SAN FRANCISCO Power Outage Power Outage which has got many sites like netflix, Craigslist, Technorati and LiveJournal down. San Francisco and its surrounding areas are experiencing a major blackout and many companies are affected by this within 35 miles north of Silicon Valley.

I was trying to use Technorati and some others like Alexa and experienced trouble, one minute it come on the next it would go, many other people experienced troubles as well where things failed to ping and with a reply on a tracert, then 404′d from their browser.

Most are back on now and they are trying to get all the systems all back to normal, the report came in at 1:50pm PDT saying they experienced a city-wide power outage and are working hard to get the spiders back up and crawling. Many people on the net have tried searching for all types of things like craigslist, technorati, alexa, sixapart plus yelp and it seems many people have search for the craiglist in their area with searches such as craigslist long island, craigslist orange county, craigslist sac, craigslist portland and so many more the list is endless.
