Samsung create 30 Inch LCD with DisplayPort 1.1: DVI & VGA is old news

Oh yes all stand up for Samsung especially all you HDMI lovers because Samsung create a 30 inch LCD with DisplayPort 1.1 which means basically DVI & VGA is old news. This is the Worlds first LCD panel which boasts a DisplayPort 1.1 jack which is approved by VESA.
This Samsung 30 inch class act features a stunning 2,560 x 1,600 pixels which also boasts a 10 bit color depth at a staggering rate of 10.8Gbps over a single port, now can you see why that DVI & VGA is old news.
The Samsung S-PVA panel has a 180 degree viewing angle and 300cd/m2 brightness plus 1,000:1 contrast and 6 ms response. This new Samsung 30 Inch LCD with DisplayPort 1.1 will be available for production late Q2 of 2008.
