HiPiHi, which is the new virtual world to come out of China, looks set to have some hard time ahead. The problem is China has so many censorship laws that anything that is offensive, and against many people’s views could find themselves on the wrong side of the Chinese government.
HipiHi is set to go head to head with Second Life, the king of the online virtual world, but with the tough censorship laws in China, HiPiHi might have fallen over its first hurdle before the race has even had a chance to start.
Then again people in China are used to not talking politics, they are used to not having free will when it comes to sexual activity, so HiPiHi could very well stand a chance against the ever popular Second Life.

Second Life has prohibited wagering in response to government oppression. We are all oppressed by governments; government oppression is something unpleasant that people everywhere have in common, like ants at a picnic.
It’s great to see people from all around the world able to make friends and do business in such pleasant venues as Hipihi and Second Life.
