Google Trying Out a New Homepage Design: Taiwan, Hong Kong

The people behind the most popular search engine on the net, Google, are testing out a new look for their website.
“We think [the new design] will be more appropriate for the local cultures, and their context, and their broadband connections, which, for example in Korea, are extraordinarily fast,” Brin said, adding that the response to the new site designs had been “quite positive.”
The new ‘look’ is directly related to the high speed broadband they have out there. Take a look at the changed layout here , be sure to comment and tell us what you think.
If you ask me, it just looks like they’ve added a few minor images to their links and moved a couple of things out the way. Nevertheless, they usually know what they’re doing. Whether the ‘improved’ design will reach our apparent ‘slower connections’ here is another issue, let’s hope so.
