Director James Cameron chooses Ubisoft for Avatar game
When we got news that James Cameron is to direct the new movie Avatar, we were all exited as James is one of the best directors on the business. Movie fans would have loved this news, but if you are a gaming fan, the all you want to know is “Who is making the game.” You will be pleased to know that James has chosen Ubisoft to create the Avatar game.

The Avatar game project will be based around the movie, which is a story about a former Marine, who is in an alien world as an avatar, which is a human mind trapped in an alien body. What is an interesting fact is the WETA digital from the movie which Peter Jackson is working on, will also be used in the games visual.

It is hoped that the Avatar movie will be released by May 2009; Ubisoft had better get their fingers out, as have just less than two years to get the Avatar game finished, as James Cameron would like the MMO running on the same release date as the film.
