DC Comics plans World of Warcraft based comic book series

DC Comics as we know are the world’s largest comic book publisher, so it was only a matter of time until they announced that they would publish a new comic book series, that does not sound great so far but get this the comics are to be based on World of Warcraft.

This game by Blizzard Entertainment is one of the most popular multiplayer online role-playing games. At this year’s Comic-Con we will get to see Preview art from the MMORPG series. DC Comics has said that the World of Warcraft comic books are to be published through there other company DC’s WildStorm imprint. It is hoped that this new series will be out in time for the fall.

The WoW comics will be written by Walter Simonson, who is better known for his work on Thor and Orion, the feature art is to be drawn by Ludo Lullabi and inker Sandra Hope.
