Update: Democrats on CNN YouTube Debate

Democrats had to face a two hour debate as they took questions entered to CNN and YouTube.

The CNN YouTube debate was dubbed as a way for the average person to interact with the democrat presidential candidates.

Questions submitted to the democrats for the CNN YouTube debate were shown on a large screen.

A similar debate, again hosted by CNN and YouTube is expected to take place on September 17th but this time it will be the Republicans who take the questions.

The questions put forward in the CNN YouTube debate were not ones that journalists would usually ask

“These are questions that we, the journalist, we the mainstream media, would never think to ask in the presidential debate,” CNN Senior Vice President David Bohrman said.

The democrats were questioned on health care, same-sex marriages, the war in Iraq, gun control, global warming and other issues in the CNN YouTube debate.

What I thought was pretty funny was the man dressed as a snowman asking where the democrats stood on global warming!
