Twango To Be Purchased By Nokia

Nokia, the world’s largest cell phone manufacturer, is buying Twango.

Twango is a 10 person company, operating from a basement of Serena Glover and the company is based in Redmond.

Apparently, Nokia was attracted to Twango due to their media sharing service that works well with cell phones.

Last year, Nokia sold more than 347 million mobile devices globally and the cell phone giant has said that they will keep all Twango employees including the five founders of this basement company.

Financial details of the deal have not yet been disclosed, but last year Nokia bought Seattle-based Loudeye, a digital audio company, for $60 million in cash.

Do you think the Twango system will work well with Nokia cell phones to improve the service?
