Silicon Valley Car of Choice: Toyota Prius Hybrid and Global Warming
By: Peter Chubb | July 24, 2007
It seems that the car of choice in Silicon Valley is the one and only Toyota Prius Hybrid , all the people there as we know have massive IQ’s but it does not take a rocket scientist to work out that by having one of these cars, they are doing their bit for Global Warming.
To give you an idea at just how popular the Toyota Prius Hybrid is in Silicon Valley, the car sold 1,627 were purchased in the month of May. Rod Diridon who is the executive director from the Mineta Transportation Institute at San Jose State University has said that all of us in Silicon Valley seem to have a higher level of education, and that they have a greater understanding when it comes to issues such as global warming.
It seems that waiting lists have gone up on this hybrid vehicle which has helped sales as Toyota is starting to push out more units in the factories.
