NFL Bans Falcons QB Michael Vick from Pre Season Training
By: Daniel Chubb | July 24, 2007 | Leave a CommentThe Atlanta Falcons quarter back Michael Vick has been told not to come to the pre-season training sessions by the NFL.
Vick has been indicted with charges related to dog fighting and this is the reason why he has been told not to come to the pre season training camp.
On Thursday, the NFL star will face a Federal grand jury to will attempt to answer to these charges. Vick is accused of allowing dog fighting on land he owned.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said:
“While it is for the criminal justice system to determine your guilt or innocence, it is my responsibility as commissioner of the National Football League to determine whether your conduct, even if not criminal, nonetheless violated league policies.”
Don’t you think Vick should be allowed to go to training anyway?
Vick has not yet been convicted; I thought it was innocent until proven guilty…
