New Price Is Right TV Show Host Drew Carey

It has just been announced that Drew Carey is to be the next host of The Price Is Right.

The CBS confirmed Monday that the comedian and host of The Power of 10, a prime-time game show which is due to air next month on the network, has agreed to become host of the long-running daytime series.

Drew said “I couldn’t be more excited,” Drew announced the news on Monday night’s Late Show with David Letterman.

Drew said that” I realize what a big responsibility this is. It’s the longest-running game show in American television and I plan to keep it that way.”

Drew Carey who is 49 years old has told TV critics last week that he was interested in the job which was formally held by Bob Barker for 35 years but Bob Barker has now retired.
