multi-gigabit WiFi research
Now with some amazing new multi-gigabit WiFi research could in fact allow you to download an entire DVD to a cellphone and that’s the start of it, Georgia Electronic Design Center (GEDC) researchers at Georgia Tech has just released the most amazing high speed wireless data that transfers at a staggering 15Gbps at a one meter range.

The research is still at its early stages, as data rates drop off steeply with just a tiny added distance 10Gbps at two meters, 5Gbps at five meters.
