Magic: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Book Smashes Sales Record

Remember the story we covered about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Book not on NYT Bestseller List, well never mind because there is new Harry Potter magic because Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Book smashes sales record (oh yes have some of that).
This book is the 7th and final volume from J.K. Rowling’s fantasy series and has sold a staggering 8.3 million copies in the first 24 hours which went on sale in the United States according to Scholastic Inc.
There has been no other book including any of the Harry Potter ones that has sold so many, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Book has sold an average of 300,000 sales every hour which is astonishing which get this, is an amazing 5,000 copies per minute. The book which was sale for $34.99 even allowed for discounts.
Got to say thou everywhere you go there are people of all ages reading this book, it seems to be a phenomenon. We know now that this book was made to smash records and it has done that with flying colors, the Deathly Hallows was released Saturday with a first printing of a massive 12 million copies and this is in the US alone. The book’s British publisher, Bloomsbury, expects to announce sales figures Monday.

Loved the series, kids got me hooked while reading it to them almost a decade ago. Ending was much much different than I thought, I fully expected her to leave a clearly defined enemy in Draco, but I guess that was her way of saying, “really, no I mean really, no more Harry Potter”! We’ll see…
