A History of the Boxer Norton

The boxer Ken Norton was born in 1943 and he was a world champion as well as a heavyweight boxer.

Norton is one of the few boxers to beat Muhammad Ali, and broke the jaw of “The Greatest”.

As a school kid Ken Norton was not just a boxer, but a great athlete. As a result of his success, the school brought in a “Ken Norton Rule” which limits participation of an athlete to a maximum of three track and field events.

As well as a great boxer Norton was also a US Marine and this is in fact where he started boxing.

The highlight of his boxing career came in 1973 when he beat Muhammad Ali and also broke Ali’s jaw during the fight.
