Sony announces updated version of Sega’s Game Gear TV tuner: PSP 1seg TV tuner

So the big boys who like to play around with the PSP have finally come to the conclusion and are offering an updated version of Sega’s Game Gear TV tuner which is the PSP 1seg TV tuner (beautiful). This new PSP 1seg TV tuner is for the PlayStation Portable but the question is will it come to North America (We think not).

The PSP 1seg TV tuner will allow PSP users in Japan to pick up some digital signals for around about ¥6,980 which approx $57. Now for the bad news, it looks like this device is only compatible with the slimmer PSP which is a pain in the butt. The PSP 1seg TV tuner will be available on September the 20th.
