SAW 5 and 6 will be directed by David Hackl NOT Darren Lynn Bousman

The gruesome movie SAW is an all time favourite edge of the seat horror that is enough to make anyone jump, SAW 5 and SAW 6 will be directed by David Hackl NOT Darren Lynn Bousman who directed the last instalments and this green light was given the go ahead by Lionsgate after signing the director for both of these movies.

Saw V (5) is apparently prepped for Halloween 2009 and Saw IV (4) will be hitting a world wide release Oct 26, 2007. Lionsgate signed David Hackl who was the production designer for SAW 2, SAW 3 and SAW 4, Darren Lynn Bousman directed SAW 1, 3 and 3 and 4 and now Hackl to direct SAW 5 and 6.

Does this mean with new blood directing it we will see more horror, some amazing storylines. We all know Darren Lynn Bousman has done a fantastic job and we are so hoping David Hackl does the same if not more so better.

Will David Hackl keep SAW 5 and SAW 6 gripping? And will Hackl be as good as Bousman?
