Lenart Studios Surf Radio: surfboard wth GPS and LCD

This has got to be the best surfboard for all you surfers out there. Lenart Studios have come up with this surfboard that has got GPS and LCD built in which will be able to give you up to date information about your location, rip currents, and building swells, and will also double as a walkie-talkie for chatting with fellow surf riders.

This unit can trigger an internal communications system to send out an emergency beacon with your exact location if you get into trouble.

But and it is a big but there is no word on if this design will ever go mainstream.
But if it does it is not likely to be cheap.
