J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hits 8.3m sales in 24hrs in US
J.K. Rowling must be rubbing her hands together right now, as news has just hit that her final book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, has just hit 8.3m sales in just 24 hrs in the US. The seventh and final installment of our favorite wizard went on sale at 12.01 am on the 21st July.

The previous book Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince sold 6.9 million copies in its first 24hours, which means that the Deathly Hallows books beat it by 1.4 million copies.

This book has had such a massive hype to it, people knew before the final book came out that there was to be a couple of deaths of one of our favorite characters, which we covered in one of our posts Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Ending: We know who dies?.
