Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Book not on NYT Bestseller List

The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a children’s book and apparently those books do not count, the reason is because back in 2000 all the Harry Potter books were a once in a lifetime publishing feat/phenomenon and were in fact totally dominating the bestseller lists, there were 3 titles ensconced in the Top 15 at the same time and many publishers said this was not fair because it kept more of the deserving titles of the list (you know titles which people do not hear about).
So because of this The New York Times decided to ban all children’s books solely to a separate list (Pathetic).
